Let's Talk About Privacy
Hi guys, it's Tay! This week's post is short and to the point. We're talking about your privacy which is super important. If you've been a long-time fan of Woodies or you're new here, you likely (hopefully) know how much we value our customers and real relationships.
In the marketing world, the concept of respecting people's "privacy" generally does not exist. Most businesses use pixels, cookies and other ways to gather your information. There's a lot that can be done with this information. If you haven't seen "The Social Dilemma", we highly recommend the watch! A majority of people don't know their information is stored when they visit most websites or input their information into a subscription box, make a purchase, etc.
Woodies as a whole is very unique in the way we function, the type of content we market and how we advertise. It's important to us that you know our privacy policy and that we respect your privacy whole heartedly.
So let's break it down.
We take privacy very seriously at Woodies. When you make an order, you entrust us with information, and we promise to keep your information secure. The only information we may gather from you is your name, email address and basic order information (for our newsletter or so we can personally reach out to you with an awesome gift). All websites use cookies to collect data and we will never sell your information to a third-party and we do not collect any information from persons under the age of 13. We don't add a pixel to your web browser. We do offer the ability to join our newsletter and follow us on social platforms but we do not follow you around the web.
We believe in organic relationships. Our promise is to actively make changes and prevent new systems from forming which will violate your privacy.
Thank you for being part of the Woodies family!
